More than a century ago almost everything at the national stage was performed with full orchestra. Now we are dusting off the old orchestral parts for both the incidental music and the melodramas from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Royal Orchestra and actors from the Royal Dramatic Theatre will take the audience on a nostalgic journey to a time when the Dramatic Theatre and the Opera were one institution, sharing the Royal Orchestra.
