What would you get if you put the ingredients of a traditional opera into a blender? Out comes musical theater that both amuses and alarms, both seduces and bewilders. The idiosyncratic artist and director Doug Fitch presents Love & Chaos, a hybrid performance that is both concert and opera, together with the Royal Swedish Orchestra and the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus, conducted by Alan Gilbert, music director and Royal Court Kapellmeister. An excursion to the Drottningholm Court Theatre that you will not soon forget.

Hear the fantastic soloists Ida Falk Winland, Johanna Rudström, Niklas Björling Rygert, Klas Hedlund, Jeremy Carpenter, Lennart Forsén and Kristian Flor in a context you could never have imagined. The audience will be taken on a wild journey through a story of unexpected love, dragons, and brave heroics set to the beloved operatic works of composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Weber, Cimarosa, and P.D.Q. Bach, the deservedly forgotten, zany, recently discovered brother of his more well-known sibling, all curated by Doug in new and unexpected ways... If he ever existed?
