Meet us out and about in Stockholm, or in our beautiful opera house! The summer offers everything from opera, ballet, concert to close collaborations, and at the end of August we kick off the autumn season with opera favourite Madama Butterfly and ballet classic Manon.

Do not miss our praised guided tours of the historic opera house, to then visit famed restaurant classic Grodan for something to eat and drink to a fantastic view - this year with a seating area just in front of the building.

We are feeling extra generous this Jubilee Summer 2023: on a selected number of performances (two real classics!), we are offering a limited number of tickets at half price. On one hand, the beautiful ballet Manon, on the other hand, one of the world's most well-known operas, Madama Butterfly.
Summer at Restaurant Grodan
One of our best kept secrets - restaurant Grodan ! Did you know that the classic Stockholm gastro pub Grodan ("The Frog") moved into the Royal Swedish Opera House last year? During the summer, their beautiful restaurant is open in cool premises - but they also invest in outdoor seating at the main entrance with a beautiful view of the castle, "Strömmen" and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
