EVA DAHLGREN LIVE AT THE ROYAL SWEDISH OPERA

Almost 30 years after the release of her best-selling album En blekt blondins hjärta we get to see an outstanding star that is as brilliant as ever and who never ceases to surprise. In a unique collaboration between conductor Hans Ek and the Royal Swedish Orchestra, Eva Dahlgren invites the audience to an unforgettable, wild night at the opera. “In my head I can see the audience strapped into their chairs. It will be a captivating, dazzling musical journey, people’s hair will stand on end when we’re done,” says the iconic artist.

Hans Ek’s musical arrangements have made an impact far beyond the classical salons; he has worked with some of Sweden’s foremost popular music stars, including Salem Al Fakir, Jenny Wilson and Laleh. With Eva Dahlgren and the Royal Swedish Orchestra at the helm, we can expect an at the same time intimate and glorious evening that offers a new symphonic twist to some forgotten gems. “I have written so much that has only been recorded live once or twice. At last, I will be able to give new life to these odd, but in my eyes beautiful, songs,” says Eva Dahlgren.
