The Royal Swedish Opera is seeking an in-house director for the opera department to work on performances, concerts, and other public projects outside the Opera’s regular repertoire. The role involves writing, directing, and coordinating projects—as well as overseeing their overall artistic conception—at the behest of the Head of Opera. The in-house director will also assist with other staging-related matters and assignments as required. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Stage Manager to help develop our working methods during an exciting period of change. As Stage Manager, you are responsible for leading and delegating work on stage to ensure it is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You supervise technical production teams for your assigned productions and coordinate daily operations during rehearsals, performances, and set changes.
