Royal Swedish Opera
The Royal Swedish Opera is Sweden's national stage for opera and ballet, founded by King Gustav III in 1773. The heart of opera in Sweden and home to opera singers, the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus and the Royal Swedish Ballet, the country's only classical ballet company and one of the world's oldest. The Royal Swedish Orchestra is also one of the oldest in the world, founded in 1526. We offer both adults and children strong emotions, tulle, pointe and tragedy.
