Every year approx. 50,000 children and young people participate in the Opera's operations - most through Young Opera's educational activities
Let the lesson happen with Operan
One of the Opera's most important missions is to meet children and young people - which for the Young Opera is partly about offering important performances for the target group, and partly making it possible for children and young people to gain their own experience of the different art forms that coexist at the Opera through various educational activities. We target everyone from preschool to secondary school.
Unga Operan produces its own performances and smaller concerts, arranges visits in several of the Opera's venues and holds workshops in several different forms of performing arts. Some performances from the regular repertoire are also available as school performances. The activities are ample and there is definitely something for everyone.
