Katarina Böhm was born and raised in Södertälje, and trained at Operastudion 67.
She has been employed by the Royal Swedish Opera choir since 2017, after many years as a freelance concert and opera singer.
Katarina has received several scholarships, for example from Drottningholm Palace Theatre, the Swedish Academy of Music and the Swedish Artists' Council.
At the Royal Swedish Opera, Katarina Böhm has been a soloist in La traviata, Karlsson på taket, Dracula, Tristessa, The Promise, Suor Angelica, A Midsummer Night's Dream and in two Short Stories operas: Sigrid H. (2020) and Vildfågel (2025).
