Lauded by the Seattle Times as a “passionate singing actor with a voice of considerable heft and power” and for her “fearless, thrilling high notes,” in the 2025/26 season Australian soprano Rebecca Nash returns to the title role of Turandot with the Metropolitan Opera, Opera Australia, and the Royal Swedish Opera. She also joins Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Rotterdam Philharmonic as Brünnhilde in Siegfried on tour with concerts in Rotterdam, Paris, Baden-Baden and Dortmund.
Last season, she returned to the Metropolitan Opera as the Färberin in Die Frau ohne Schatten, to Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe for further performances of Abigaille in Nabucco, and also returned to San Francisco Opera for their production of Tristan und Isolde.
She recently made her role and house debut as Abigaille in Nabucco with Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, returned to the Metropolitan Opera as Ortrud in Lohengrin as well as for their productions of Turandot and Elektra, joined Arizona Opera for the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos, joined San Francisco Opera for their production of Die Frau ohne Schatten, Teatro Verdi Padua for the title role in Turandot, and made her Wiener Staatsoper and Theater Kiel debuts as the Färberin in Die Frau ohne Schatten.
