Die Fledermaus

Johann Strauss sets the action of Die Fledermaus in motion right from the famous overture. Then follow waltzes, polkas, and melodies that have become so familiar you may have heard them all your life without knowing their source—from Rosalinde’s passionate csárdás to Adele’s virtuosic couplet.

On stage, you will encounter ten vocal soloists in a fast-paced interplay of disguises, flirtations, revenge, and mistaken identities. Everything builds toward Prince Orlofsky’s grand masquerade ball, where champagne flows, identities are put at stake, and Strauss lets the waltz take center stage. Beneath the festive revelry lie people trying to grasp what seems just out of reach: vanished youth, lost honor, and unattainable dreams.

Die Fledermaus is being performed at the Filadelfia Convention Center in Stockholm in a stripped-back production that allows the music, the singers, and the effervescent comedy to take the spotlight.

The visit to Filadelfia Convention Center

Interval service is available on site and offers coffee, snacks, soft drinks, candy, etc., but no alcoholic beverages. The area around St Eriksplan has a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafés.

Filadelfia Convention Center is located at St Eriksplan, the address is Rörstrandsgatan 5. The easiest way to get there is with SL's green line, or buses 3, 4 and 5 (stop St Erikplan). Tickets & terms

All performances are performed at Filadelfia Convention Center, Rörstrandsgatan 5, Stockholm. Tickets for Die Fledermaus are sold exclusively by Filadelfia Convention Center's ticket supplier Ticketmaster and their terms and conditions apply to purchases. Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of event tickets according to the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59).

Exchanges are only permitted to another date of the same production (Die Fledermaus) subject to space availability at Filadelfia Convention Center. Any exchanges are handled by Ticketmaster for an additional fee. Please note that it is not possible to exchange for another production given by the Royal Swedish Opera. The Royal Swedish Opera's gift card is not valid for purchases.
