Mari Carrasco is one of today's most interesting choreographers. Together with her artistic team - Mikael Karlsson, Jenny Nordberg and Mira Svanberg, she has created a performance that is entirely based on the setting - in, around and with audience.

In the dance performance Forever, the audience watches an ongoing party in the Opera's Rotunda. During the performance they go from being observers from a distance to getting closer and closer.The piece revolves around life and death, sorrow and hope, and being part of a continuous flow. How can one be an individual and part of a group at the same time? The show is primarily aimed at audiences in upper secondary school and high school.
Mari Carrasco is one of today's most interesting and acclaimed choreographers. Together with her creative team – Mikael Karlsson, celebrated for several collaborations with the choreographer Alexander Ekman and most recently for the opera Melancholia; as well as Jenny Nordberg's at naturalistic yet artificial scenography, and Mira Svanberg's evocative lighting design – they create a performance entirely based on the venue.
Smoke and longer sequences with strobe lights/flashing lights throughout the performance.

När öppnar dörrarna till föreställningen?
Det beror på: om föreställningen ges på Rotundan öppnar vi i allmänhet 20 minuter innan föreställningen startar. Ges föreställningen på Stora scenen öppnar vi tidigare.

Måste biljetterna vara utskrivna?
Nej, det går bra att visa biljetter digitalt. Observera att det måste finnas biljetter till samtliga besökare.

Är det fri placering i salongen?
I Rotundan har vi fri placering, men följ publikvärdarnas instruktioner så att insläppet blir så smidigt som möjligt för alla!

Hur gör man med väskor?
Av säkerhetsskäl får inte väskor följa med in i salongen. Vid Rotundan finns en obemannad garderob där det går bra att hänga av sig. Vid Stora scenen likaså.

Vid föreställningar på Rotundan har vi inte möjlighet att erbjuda servering. Om du besöker oss med en skolklass vill vi att du i god kontaktar oss per mejl [email protected] om ni önskar ta med matsäck.

Hur kan vi förbereda oss inför ett besök?
Inför produktioner från Unga Operan och skolföreställningar förbereder vi alltid en lärarhandledning. Den finns tillgänglig på hemsidan och skickas ut till den som beställt biljetter. Hör av dig till [email protected] om du inte hittar den!
