Young Choreographers

In Young Choreographers, members of the Royal Swedish Ballet get to create new works, explore ideas and delve deeper into the choreographic process. Meet our dancers as they instruct their colleagues in different styles and types of expression – discover the tingling sensation of being the first to encounter the choreographers of tomorrow. Welcome to an amazing evening of work in progress in an intimate setting at the Royal Swedish Opera.

For the third consecutive year, the Royal Swedish Ballet present a new version of the popular Young Choreographers initiative. »The idea is to give the choreographers complete freedom, allowing them to do what they want«, says ballet director Nicolas Le Riche. »With this project we want to release the creativity within our ballet company and develop future talent.«
