Truth or Dare in Giordano's Fedora
A forgotten classic gets its premiere at the Royal Opera on December 10 when Giordano's Fedora is staged - today best known for the beautiful tenor "Amor ti vieta".
Culture journalist Sofia Nyblom meets conductor Tobias Ringborg, assistant director Anna Thomson and not least director Christof Loy, who is coming back to the Opera for the fourth time. Plus, the soprano Asmik Grigorian, who shoulders the role of the narcissistic princess Fedora, paid tribute: for the first time on the Opera's stage since 1883 when none other than the great Sarah Bernhardt played the speaking role.
The program is made by the production company Munck.
