Kristina grew up in Delsbo, Hälsingland and is educated at the Music Colleges in Piteå and Malmö and at the Opera College in Stockholm.
After her debut as the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte at the Royal Swedish Opera in 2001, she has sung roles such as Nightingale/ Fire (L'enfant et les sortilèges), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Gilda (Rigoletto), Zdenka (Arabella), Elisa (Il re pastore), Amina (La Sonnambula), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Countessa (Le nozze di Figaro) at opera houses in Sweden and abroad, including at the Royal Swedish Opera, Gothenburg Opera, Drottningholm Court Theater, NorrlandsOperan, Staatsoper Berlin, Opera de Montpellier and Teatro Carlo Felice.
She has collaborated with conductors such as René Jacobs, Andrew Manze, Adam Fisher, Fabio Biondi, Thomas Dausgaard and Arnold Östman.
Kristina is a sought-after concert singer and has been a soloist with, among others, the Royal Swedish Philharmonic Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Choir, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, the Estonian Symphony Orchestra, the Broadcasting Orchestra in Oslo and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2017, has been a permanent employee in the Royal Swedish Opera’s chorus.
