The Royal Swedish Ballet is one of the world's oldest ballet companies and was founded as early as 1773 by Gustav III. Today, the ensemble is Sweden's largest dance company with approx. 68 full-time dancers divided between premiere dancers, 1st soloists, 2nd soloists and corps dancers who dance both classical ballet and modern dance.
