Bring the class to our daytime school performances. Each performance year, we make a selection of performances that are particularly suitable for school classes of different ages.
A slightly more fun lesson
Take the class to the Royal Swedish Opera and experience eternal themes filtered through the contemporary - here and now. Every year, we give a number of performances on the smaller Rotundan stage and some on the main stage. You can book by contacting us by email!
The tickets cost SEK 70 (at the Rotunda) and SEK 100 respectively (on the Main Stage) per student.
Also keep in mind that everyone under the age of 26 goes to the Opera's regular performances for half the regular price in the entire auditorium.

Prepare your visit with your class!
If you want to know more before your visit, read our guide on experiencing opera and ballet, children and adults together, Med spetsade öron, which you can find here (in Swedish).
The guide is a support for you who are teachers and are going to visit the Opera with your class, or who are thinking about doing so. The guide is divided into three parts: the first part presents the art forms opera and ballet. The second part revolves around the performing arts experience itself and how art can be linked to both learning and democracy, as well as what research says about children's audiences and their experiences of performing arts. The third part contains tips for the time before, during and after your visit, as well as suggestions for different exercises to do in the classroom both before and after you have seen the performance.
