The Royal Swedish Ballet is one of the world's oldest ballet companies and was founded as early as 1773 by Gustav III. Today, the ensemble is Sweden's largest dance company with 70 full-time dancers divided between premiere dancers, 1st soloists, 2nd soloists and corps dancers who dance both classical ballet and modern dance. The corps de ballet includes 6 dancers who are part of the Royal Ballet's youth program.

Audition
The Royal Swedish Ballet warmly invites applications from dancers who have a solid foundation in both classical and contemporary techniques. We are seeking artists who demonstrate high technical skills, and who also bring curiosity, creativity, and genuine passion for dance, classical as well as contemporary, to the studio and to the stage. We do prioritise previous professisonal experience and welcome dancers who would contribute their artistry to the company. We are also looking for young dancers to our Youth Programme.
