Swedish tenor Per Lindström received his musical education at Kapellsbergs Opera Studio in Härnösand and the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg.
Already during his studies he had the opportunity to perform roles like Don José (Carmen), Hoffmann (Les contes d’Hoffmann), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) and Gabriel von Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus).
Among recent and upcoming engagements to be mentioned are Ferrando in Così fan tutte at both Gothenburg Opera and Malmö Opera, Alfredo in La traviata at Norrlandsoperan, Aubry i Marschner’s Der Vampyr at Läckö Slottsopera, Jonah in Humanoid at the opera in Bern, Clas Henrik/Mask in Tintomara at Läckö Slott, Valére/The young lover in Tartuffe at NorrlandsOperan, Pollione in Norma at Folkoperan, Molqi in The Death of Klinghoffer at Norrlandsoperan , Pang in Turandot at Malmö Opera, Cavaradossi in Tosca at both Folkoperan and Norrlandsoperan and Delbert Grady in The Shining (Paul Moravec) at Malmö Opera.
Per is also sought after as a concert singer and has performed works by e.g. Bach, Beethoven, Britten, Haydn, Händel and Mozart.
