Swedish bass Peter Achrén is a member of the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus and has also appeared as a soloist on the Royal Swedish Opera stage on several occasions. In autumn 2026, he sings the role of a Jailer in Puccini’s Tosca.
As a soloist at the Royal Swedish Opera, Achrén has previously appeared in Tristessa in 2018 and in the short operas Sigrid H. in 2020 and Bagatelle in 2023, both presented as part of Short Stories. He also appeared as a soloist in Löftet in 2022 and 2024.
His other solo roles include the Speaker in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in 2022 and the Officer in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia in 2024.
