The year traditionally ends with New Year's Eve celebrations on the Royal Swedish Opera's main stage. To meet the great demand for tickets, we can offer two concert opportunities this year!
This year's New Year's concert will be extra glitzy with actor Robert Fux as presenter, acclaimed soprano Julia Sporsén and court singer Karl-Magnus Fredriksson. Together with the Royal Swedish Orchestra, we will be treated to beautiful music in a program with classical gems from the repertoire, not least from Vienna. And dancers from the Royal Swedish will perform as well! This New Year 2025, we will ring out the old, as our beautiful opera house will soon be renovated and we will move to the Gasometer.
There are two opportunities on New Years Eve, at 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. Have a drink in the Golden Foyer during the interval, make a toast for the past year and for the new.
