Ola Eliasson is educated at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Academy of Opera in Stockholm and has been a member of the Royal Swedish Opera's soloist ensemble since 1997.
At the Opera, he has performed in 50 opera productions, including:
Mozart: Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro), Papageno (The Magic Flute), Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte) Rossini: Figaro (The Barber of Seville) Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni) Strauss: Olivier (Capriccio), Faninal (Der rosenkavalier) Leoncavallo: Silvio (Pajazzo ) Giordano: Carlo Gérard (Andrea Chenier) Donizetti: Dr Malatesta (Don Pasquale) Puccini: Schaunard (La bohème), Angelotti (Tosca)
He has also appeared on other stages such as Gothenburg Opera, Drottningholm Court Theatre, Folkoperan and others.
During the 2024/2025 season, Ola Elasson sang in Tosca, Sweeney Todd and La bohème at the Royal Swedish Opera. During the 2025/2026 season, he sings in Der ferne Klang, Turandot and as a soloist in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, in the first two of the Royal Swedish Orchestra's 500th anniversary concerts.
