Sasha Yankevych, born in Ukraine in 1991, graduated from the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Poland. After the opera studio at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw and the opera studio at the Zurich Opera, he began working as a repetiteur and assistant conductor at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
During these years, Yankevych has had the opportunity to work with musicians and singers such as Fabio Luisi, Andreas Homoki, Gianluca Capuano, Jonathan Darlington, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Alan Gilbert, Asmik Grigorian, Anne Sofie von Otter, Benjamin Bernheim, Malin Byström, Adriana Gonzalez and many others.
Yankevych has been a prize winner in international competitions such as the HSBC Académie d'Aix-en-Provence (2018) and received the second prize and the orchestral prize at the 2021 Arturo Toscanini competition in Parma.
