Conny Thimander, tenor, holds a master's degree from the Stockholm Opera Academy. During the 2025/2026 season, he will appear at the Royal Swedish Opera as André in Rufus Wainwright's Prima Donna and in the tribute concert Nicolai Gedda 100 years. Later this season, he will perform the role of Lars in Turnage/Hall's opera version of the film The Party (Festen) at the Finnish National Opera and will also participate in several concerts, such as the Passion of Saint John (Bach) in Lisbon together with the Gulbenkian Foundation.
Conny is a recurring guest at the Royal Swedish Opera, where he has sung Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, the Tenor in Capriccio, Remendado in Carmen, Pong in Turandot and Harry in La fanciulla del West. At the Young Opera, he has performed the roles of Lillebror in Karlsson på taket and Åke in Min mamma är en drake.
In Sweden he has appeared on all major opera stages and internationally he has guested at, among others, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Theater Bonn, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Teatr Wielki in Warsaw, Finnish National Opera, The Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen and Teatro Regio in Turin.
