As part of this year’s edition of the European Festival: Ukrainian Spring, the Royal Swedish Opera presents From Mozart to Silvestrov – a unique chamber music concert on 7 April in the Golden Foyer.

Price

Internationally award-winning pianist Natalya Pasichnyk invites, together with her sister, the celebrated soprano Olga Pasichnyk, to an exclusive chamber music concert at the Opera. Here, the audience will also meet a new musical star – violinist Nazar Plyska, one of the most promising young artists of his generation.

Classical works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert and Frédéric Chopin stand side by side with moving pieces by Ukrainian composers such as Vasyl Barvinskyj, Viktor Kosenko, Myroslav Skoryk and Valentyn Silvestrov – music that is rarely heard on the Opera stage but that touches with its deep lyricism and timeless beauty.

All excess proceeds go to the Ukrainian Institute.
