Magnificent WAGNER CELEBRATION in Västerås Concert House
The Royal Swedish Orchestra under the direction of the Opera's music director Alan Gilbert and the world famous soprano Nina Stemme will perform at Västerås Concert House on Friday, June 14.
The concert has the music of the legendary composer Richard Wagner in focus. In addition to the orchestra, Nina Stemme, who has been praised all over the world for her empathetic and dramatic interpretations of not least Wagner, will sing immortal numbers such as »Liebestod« from Tristan und Isolde and Brünnhilde's final scene from Götterdämmerung.
Conducting is none other than Alan Gilbert, the Royal Swedish Opera's music director and Royal Court Kapellmeister.
