Rebecca Fjällsby
Rebecca Fjällsby is educated at the University College of Opera in Stockholm. In the spring of 2024, Rebecca sings a Blumenmädchen in Parsifal at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm. Rebecca also appears in Vattnäs Konsertladas production of Die Fledermaus, premiering on New Year's Eve.
She appeared at the Royal Swedish Opera for the first time in 2022 as La Ciesca in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, a role she did in 2021 at the Wermland Opera, where she appeared in a number of productions and sang a series of concerts, including the Alto solo in Mahler's 2nd symphony. In the summer of 2021 Rebecca appeared as Cosima von Bülow in Im Treibhaus in Vattnäs Konsertlada and in the summer of 2022 the Andra Damen in Die Zauberflöte on the same stage. Rebecca has also appeared at Malmö Opera as Zerlina, at Opera på Skäret as Tebaldo in Don Carlo, Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore and Andra Damen.
She has received a number of scholarships, including Anders Wall's Giresta Scholarship and Gothenburg's Wagner Society's Bayreuth Scholarship.
